NEW YORK - Sept. 8 2022 /PRNewswire/- Today the Israel Ministry of Tourism announced record-breaking numbers of visitors from the United States who visited Israel during July and August. Israel welcomed 78,000 total travelers from the United States in July 2022 that's a 4 percent increase from the year before, and 71,000 total travelers from the United States in August 2022 which is an increase of 13% from the year before. The United States is our most important destination for our inbound tourism to Israel. Before the COVID-19 epidemic, we had record-breaking numbers of Israeli tourists entering Israel each month. We are extremely happy to have witnessed an improvement in the trend, and we anticipate it to continue for a long time. Canada is also on track, just like the United States, to surpass its tourist arrivals into Israel. In July 2022, Canada saw 7,200 tourists and August witnessed 6,000.
